I graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute in 1987 with a major in textile design. After graduating, I created and was the director of a school for aesthetic education for children 3 – 5 years old. There we taught them art, music, sculpture and language.

In New York I have worked as a textile designer and still make designs for companies like Ann Taylor, The Gap, and many others.

I like to explore different techniques when I teach art – pastels, watercolors, gouache and collage. I believe that having children learn art history and teaching them about different artists opens new horizons for them. I am very much looking forward to teaching the children this coming Fall.
